Make your visit to the Denver Center Theatre Company’s student matinee of Dracula even more fulfilling. Explore themes from this historic adaptation while you investigate drama-based teaching strategies and participate in a hands-on workshop led by Denver Center Theatre Academy teaching artists. These tools will help you and your students investigate Bram Stoker’s commentary of England’s change from an agrarian society into the Industrial Revolution. Are there similarities in today’s society and what is our fascination with vampires all about? After the workshop you can enjoy one of our performances of either The 39 Steps or The House of the Spirits for just $10. Ask for details. Continental breakfast is included with this free workshop.
